When the next booking is somewhere else and nothing takes you there, an orange warning shows the distance. Click it to add the taxi, walk or bus.

A flight from Sydney to Rarotonga crosses the date line, so you land before you took off. Big Trip Planner draws the flight at its real length and starts a new clock when you land, so 09:00 on the calendar is 09:00 on your watch.
Overnight flights are drawn across the night, not squashed into one day. You can see how long you are in the air and what time it will be when you get there.

The gaps between bookings
It knows where you will be each hour.
Your hotel is on one side of the island and the market is on the other. Nothing on the calendar gets you there, so Big Trip Planner shows an orange warning with the distance. Click it, choose a taxi, bus, walk or cycle, and the journey goes on the calendar with its travel time.
If the taxi takes 35 minutes and you only have 20, it says so in plain words — before you are standing on the kerb.
